April's Tag

This is the tag I posted under Tim Holtz 12 tags of 2012. I did not have all of the supplies that he used so I put on my thinking cap & came up with this. Be use to check out Tim's blog & look at his April tag.  I am so ready for spring to be here. http://www.timholtz.typepad.com/
I used a scripted stamp for the background, & used a Sizzix  embossing folder, using TH dies for the bird (Caged bird & branch from Pine Tree) using distressed ink pads, broken china, wild honey, shabby shutters, I used distressed stickles on the bird (sorry I do not know the colors). On the tree branch I used distressed embossing powder scattered straw over brown card stock. I placed a metal crown on the birds head & sweet metal charm on the bottom tied on with twine & colored peach. to finish the tag.
