Junes Friday's Challenge Masculine Cards

Fridays Challenge on Quick Quotes

I have created three masculine cards for the guys in my family.

 Card 1
On card 1 I used Mulberry Paper line QQP-MB101 on a black base card.
The tool chest was created with red and silver paper.
I placed the red card stock into an embossing folder that looks like a metal grate.  The tools was cut using silver paper then ran through the die cut machine cutting with red card stock. They where  then trimmed down to just the handles of the tools. I then ran them through the Big Shot in an embossing folder. I stamped the sentiments with archival ink distressing the edges with 2017 Royal Blue PowderPuff Chalking Ink. Layering the tools at the bottom of the tool chest and added the hammer and screwdriver under the sentiment. Card 1 is a 41/4 X 51/2" card

Card 2
On card 2 & 3 I used Quick Quotes paper line Adventure Awaits QQP-AD101
Card 2 is is 51/2 X 51/2" card, with a light sea foam card base. I cut two layers of papers 51/4 X 51/4" & 5 X 5" Layering each layer after distressing the edges with a distress tool then edges them with 2016 Navy Powderpuff Chalking Ink. The motorcycle was die cut using the same paper line and used the chalking ink to highlight the area's of the motorcycle. The edges of the lighter paper with a gears stamp. A sentiment was stamped on white card stock distressed with Navy chalking ink, layered on the patterned paper.

 Card 3
Card 3 is a 4`/4 X 51/2" card, the card base is a white card stock, layering two pieces of the paper line with the edges distressed with a distressing tool. I wrapped bakers twine around the top 1/3 of the card layering the sentiment and a large anchor. The top paper was curled up exposing a sentiment underneath.  The top sentiment was distressed with the navy chalking ink.

Mulberry Photo Frame,

Welcome, thanks for stopping by today, today I am sharing with you the photo frame I did for Mothers Day, I used the same paper line I did for the other gifts I created to give my daughter.  Mothers Day is just around the corner.

The paper line is by Quick Quotes is call Mulberry. I used QQP-MB102 for the frame. I used 2017 PowderPuff Chalking Ink Royal Blue to color the outside of the frame and 2017 PowderPuff Chalking Ink Violet for the edge of the heart on the frame.

I created the flowers with a flower die from my stash, each flower I distress the edges with the Royal Blue and Violet Chalking Inks, to give it dimension and to add some color. I added a brad in the center of the three large flowers and large pearl drops to the center of the two smaller flowers.   Then added my sentiment from the Mulberry 12 X 12 Quotes & Phases Sheet.

This photo shows the entire set, I made this just a few projects ago. The set is now complete for Mothers Day.

Mulberry Card Set

Welcome crafty friends, I am going to share with you another project using Quick Quotes Mulberry paper stack. I really like the colors in this paper line. I created a set of cards in a cute folder. With in card I used berry jam 2016 PowderPuff chalking ink. The chalking in was also used on the front of the folder on the three layer flower that is the main embellishment.

The folder is made from 1 piece of 12 X 12" card stock. Emulating a clutch purse. It hold four cards, two on each side.  there are two cards with a rich razzleberry card stock and two card with rich creamy ivory card stock.
All four cards

1. Birthday card           2. Thank you card

 3. Hello Card          4. Have a nice day Card.

All four cards used the same paper QQP -Mulberry paper stack that was either layered on white card stock or the rich razzleberry card stock. I used the same Spellbinders label die cut to create the stacking label and Using 2016 Berry Jam PowderPuff chalking Ink to distress the edges of the labels as well as using it as my stamp color to stamp the sentiments.  Each card was finished with a raspberry ribbon from my Quick Quotes stash.
