Up Up & Away Garden Wall Layout

Kathi here once again to share a new layout I created using several products from Gina's Designs

I first used dry wall paste with the Brick Wall as a mask  to create a brick wall on the left side of the layout. , I used a lace mask on the right side of the layout.  A filmstrip laser cut from the Hollywood Shape set was placed on the lower part of the layout as a border.  Flowers were then placed on the wall and below the photo with a gate from the Gate Shape Set. The gate was prepared with Distress embossing power and placed over the flowers

The Hot Air Balloon was left to be seen through the brick wall.
A Hot Air Balloon from the Hot Air Balloon Shape Set was decorated and placed on the upper right of the photo.

Shabby Chic Vintage Camera Box

Hi Kathi here to share my December DT Project with you. I created a camera box from a few of my favorite things

I first painted the camera with white gesso. then sprayed a lindys stamp gang tan spay to give the box an aged look.. After the box dried I covered the box with a soft pink & ivory paper along with black & ivory to contrast the pink/ivory paper.

In the bottom of the camera I  placed a soft ivory crocheted doily and ivory trim on both sides.

Christmas Rose

Kathi here today to share with you an off of the page project, for this project I choose to use OTP "Joy to the World". I am using the sign "Joy to the World as part of my center piece. The second project I added to the swan the fanciful fan.

This the swan...Christmas Rose

I covered the swan with graphic 45 paper from the collection the 12 days of Christmas. The paper is called the Christmas Rose. After covering the entire swan I cut out the center of the back of the swan to insert a flower pot for a flower arrangement.

Side/front of the swan.

I painted the the sign then sprayed it with spray adhesive then covered with fine glitter on both sides, I combined blue & green on the front & red on the back. When it was dry I added it to the center arrangement.

The fanciful fan was painted with distress paint & oval embellishment from the paper line was added to each of the fans. The embellishments out lined the  first 6 days of the 12 days of Christmas.

I sprayed perfect pearls to the outside of the swan.

A flat back pearl was added for the eyes.
